About this guide

InterlakenBoatTrip.com is an independent guide to boat trips from Interlaken, Switzerland: the scheduled boats on Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, and the jetboat, kayak and guided trips on the same water. We are not BLS, a tour operator, a tourism office or GetYourGuide: the site name describes the trips we write about.

Facts here are checked against official and primary sources (BLS Schifffahrt and its 2026 timetable, the Berner Oberland Pass, Interlaken Tourism, Switzerland Tourism, the castle museums) and the tour listings on GetYourGuide, including recent guest reviews. Prices, timetables and rules change; when a listing and this page disagree, the listing at checkout wins.

The site is funded by affiliate commissions: when you book through a GetYourGuide link here, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Our editors pick the trips on what suits which traveller, and every tour page says whether the boat is the scheduled BLS boat that Swiss passes cover or a boat of its own.
